TRAVEL DOCUMENTS NEEDED AT CROCODILE BAY LODGE

Passport is necessary for travel in Costa Rica. PASSPORT MUST BE VALID FOR SIX MONTHS AFTER THE BEGINNING OF YOUR TRIP. Any minors traveling with you must have a signed and notarized release from any parent not traveling with you.

Print two copies of the page in your passport which includes your picture, passport number, issue and expiration date. Keep one copy in your wallet or pocket and one in your luggage.  This can be very helpful entering and leaving the country if your passport is lost.

CROCODILE BAY LODGE GENERAL INFORMATION
Crocodile Bay Lodge is located in the Southwestern corner of Costa Rica out of Punto Jimenez. It is the Pacific's newest fishing and ecotourism lodge. The fishing here encompasses the complete spectrum of light and heavy tackle opportunities. Roosterfish, numerous Jack species and bottom dwellers are available in abundance from this lodge. This hideaway also offers a swimming pool to relax in after a long day in the ocean or rainforest.

A number of tours are offered from the lodge that will take you into the jungle in search of Macaws, other bird species, monkeys and much more. If you are a diver or snorkeler this lodge can also accommodate your desires. As you can see, there is much to do here. Remember, when planning your trip you do not need to fish every day. The resort is located on 44 acres with 34 air-conditioned rooms in Puerto Jimenez on the Osa Peninsula. The exquisite lodge features a top of the line daily menu, swimming pool, hot tub, massage room and a conference center that accommodates up to 80 people. LOCATION OF CROCODILE BAY LODGE
As the premier Costa Rica fishing resort, the Crocodile Bay Lodge is adjacent to some of Costa Rica’s most beautiful beaches. It sits on its own 44 acres of tropical gardens which are located on the Golfo Dulce (right by the small rustic and friendly village of Puerto Jimenez) on the Osa Peninsula in Southwest Costa Rica. The “Osa” has been described by National Geographic as, "The most ecologically intense place on earth."

SEASON AT CROCODILE BAY LODGE
Consistent annual water temperatures between 80 and 83 degrees insure that inshore fishing along the coastline and flats boat fishing the estuaries is good all year. Offshore fishing is available all year, with the months of December through May being best.

HOW TO GET TO CROCODILE BAY LODGE
Fly into San Jose, Costa Rica where you will be met and transferred to one of the hotels near the airport for your overnight stay. Early the next morning you board a domestic commercial flight to Puerto Jimenez where you are again met and transferred to the lodge. Every time you get off or on a plane or car in Costa Rica, a representative from Crocodile Bay Lodge will be there to escort you.

2014-2015 RATES FOR CROCODILE BAY LODGE

Three fishing days - $3116 pp double occupancy

Four fishing days - $3996 pp double occupancy

Five fishing days - $4796 pp double occupancy

A transfer fee of $395 per person is NOT included in these rates and can be added to your package.

The transfer fee includes inbound night lodging at The Doubletree Hilton Cariari or Hotel Balmoral in San Jose, (double occupancy),
ground transfers between airports and hotels, & scheduled round trip domestic air transportation between San Jose and the resort.
Fishing Package: includes fishing boat with fuel, fishing gear, guide, fishing licenses, lodging, all meals including local liquor,
beer, wine and soft drinks.

Not included: transfer fees, domestic overweight seat and baggage, international airfare, meals in San Jose, airport departure tax,
change fees and gratuities.

All rates are per-person, double occupancy unless noted otherwise.
