FISHING AND FLYFISHING IN MEXICO
Our neighbors to the South have some excellent fishing destinations. We have more experience in this country than in any other on the planet. From Cabo to Cancun and from Ixtapa to Campeche, we know twenty plus fishing travel destinations intimately. Fish for tarpon in the Yucatan or largemouth bass at El Salto. Catch marlin, sailfish, tuna, and dorado in the Sea of Cortez or a hundred bonefish in Xcalak in the picturesque Caribbean. Fishing in Mexico isn't just good - it's legendary.

YUCATAN FLYFISHING - SPECIAL INSIGHT
Without a doubt, the Yucatan is my favorite single region on the planet. And because of this, I have traveled here more than any other area in the world. There are at least twenty high-quality destinations in the Yucatan, but I "narrowed down" our fishing lodges to the ones I think best cover the details, have the overall highest levels of service, and give a broad spectrum of pricing for traveling flyfishers. And while I use the term flyfishing for the most part, the truth is that many of the Yucatan fishing destinations can be fished equally well with spinning gear.

At least fifteen fishing trips here in the past twenty years make me somewhat an expert in the region.
If you are thinking about where to go fishing  in the Yucatan, you really should drop me a note. There are subtle differences between the locations, the timing of the best fishing, and the accommodations and service at each lodge.

FISHING IN BAJA MEXICO
Fishing in Cabo, East Cape, La Paz, and Loreto is generally for marlin, tuna, sailfish, dorado, cabrilla, roosterfish, and pargo. We have six quality hotels here that specialize in great Mexican fishing vacations.

FISHING IN BAJA - CABO SAN LUCAS
We have offshore saltwater fishing charters available from $450 and up. All private charters for your group only. Prices vary depending on boat size and inclusions/exclusions. Don't leave your charter choice to chance!

FISHING IN BAJA - EAST CAPE
    RANCHO LEONERO
We have recently decided to concentrate on one operator in East Cape Baja Mexico. Rancho Leonero is located in a pristine portion of the East Cape and the people are friendly and hospitable. Call us or call their office directly and make sure you tell them you found them through Rod and Reel Adventures! They will take extra special care of you!

FISHING IN THE MEXICAN YUCATAN
Fishing in Campeche, Cancun, Cozumel, Ascension Bay, Holbox, and Xcalak is generally for tarpon, bonefish, permit, and snook. We represent more than ten operations here to give you the perfect Mexican Yucatan flyfishing adventure.

FISHING ON THE MEXICAN MAINLAND
On the Mexian mainland you will find excellent fishing for Largemouth Bass at Lake El Salto and Lake Mateos. We use Anglers Inn to cover bass fishing adventures at both of these legendary fishing destinations.
